Day 19 1/n

Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing
First Light Pale

Tasty citrus grenade (like a citrus bomb, but smaller blast) with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Eminently drinkable, at a very good ABV.

Got socked by rain this weekend - forecast was about 25mm, we were close to 100mm last time I checked. 10km south of here they're over twice that.

Today is apparently National Beer Day! Happy NBD, enjoy! 🍻

Day 9

Three Magnets
Welwyn Garden

Malty and smooth. Survived 4 or 5 years of cellaring, but might have been better fresh. Still 4/5, would drink again.

Day 10 1/n

Boulder Creek Brewing
Big Basin Redwood

Enjoying a half pint while looking at the awesome evening sky.

A few years ago, I enjoyed some really good beer from Uruguay. Of all the mass produced brands that I've had, I really enjoyed Patricia. Tasted better than the other one that's actually somewhat sold here in the USA but I forget the name. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ There were also some artisinal ones that were great but I'd have to refer to my old pictures to remember the names. If I find them, I'll post them here.

As for Argentine beers, I do enjoy Quilmes, but I know there are others that are so much better. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡·

Switched over to this account to match my usernames πŸ‘πŸΌ

Here are the two most recent additions to my tasted list: Shiner S'More and Foggy Geezer

The Mastodon instance for those who love beer. I hadn't seen any instances that were specific to beer, so I thought I'd create one. You can post reviews of beers you've tried, recommendations for others, discuss home brewing, share events, etc. Anyone is welcome, whether you're new to the world of beer or a long-time connoisseur.
