Day 19 #beervid19 1/n
Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing
First Light Pale
Tasty citrus grenade (like a citrus bomb, but smaller blast) with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Eminently drinkable, at a very good ABV.
Got socked by rain this weekend - forecast was about 25mm, we were close to 100mm last time I checked. 10km south of here they're over twice that.
Does it count if it was finished in beer barrels? #whiskey
A few years ago, I enjoyed some really good beer from Uruguay. Of all the mass produced brands that I've had, I really enjoyed Patricia. Tasted better than the other one that's actually somewhat sold here in the USA but I forget the name. 🤷♂️ There were also some artisinal ones that were great but I'd have to refer to my old pictures to remember the names. If I find them, I'll post them here.
As for Argentine beers, I do enjoy Quilmes, but I know there are others that are so much better. 🇦🇷
Hi, I'm Leni aka @sunflowers. I like beer.
I live in Chicagoland so a lot of what I try is local to Chicago/the midwest.
The Mastodon instance for those who love beer. I hadn't seen any instances that were specific to beer, so I thought I'd create one. You can post reviews of beers you've tried, recommendations for others, discuss home brewing, share events, etc. Anyone is welcome, whether you're new to the world of beer or a long-time connoisseur.
